Due to quarantines and positive cases at Holden Middle School, tonight's (1/13) middle school boys basketball game in Holden will be A only starting at 5. There will be no B game.
The girls game vs. Holden has already been canceled, but this is a reminder that there is no girls game tonight.
Thursday's (1/13) middle school girls basketball game vs. Holden, in Richmond, has been canceled. Holden has shut down girls basketball for the season.

Reduction in Required Quarantines: Last week, the Ray County Health Department shared with us that they will allow for new COVID-19 protocols to align with updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As we prepare to return to school tomorrow, we wanted to provide an update on new expectations for staying home when individuals in our school community test positive for COVID-19 or are exposed to a positive person. Today (Tuesday) we will be doing a sack lunch with a movie and activities in the afternoon. For any students with a failing grades as of 12/17/21, will be placed into a homework help room during the afternoon activities to offer additional support while here at school before the end of the semester. 🏀Holden is having transportation issues. We expect the A boys game tonight in Richmond to start around 6pm, followed by the B game. 🏀

Middle School Basketball Schedule Changes:
We have some changes and an addition to the basketball schedules at the middle school.
1. The A only boys and girls games at Bueker MS has been rescheduled for Wednesday 12/8 due to Bueker being double booked. The boys will play first starting at 5. This is also sports picture day, so the teams will be taking pictures before they load the bus.
2. The boys game schedule at Lawson for 12/10 has moved to 12/16. The order will be C, B, A starting at 4:30.
3. We are finalizing plans for our girls to travel to Oak Grove on 12/13 for an A & B night starting at 5.
