The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) test will be administered in grades 6-8 from April 25 - April 29. MAP test make-ups will be the following week from May 2 - May 6.

Summer School forms were given to each student today during their 8th hour class. These forms were give to current 6th grade and 7th grade students only. Current 8th graders will receive their Summer School forms at a later date.
Higginsville has just informed us that they are canceling the middle school track meet today (4/8) due to cold and windy conditions. It is unknown if there will be a makeup meet at this time.
There will be no practice today. The next practice will be Monday after school.
RMS track WILL practice until 4:30pm at the high school.
RMS track meet at Chillicothe has been cancelled due to impending weather.

Recent events at Richmond Middle School are concerning in nature for the safety and privacy of students and staff. Through various social media apps such as: Tik Tok, SnapChat, Instagram, etc., students have engaged in various acts of inappropriate and disruptive behavior in the school building which were instigated on social media. Students have utilized their cell phones to capture inappropriate events and post them on social media. We ask for our Spartan families' help to stop these actions. 🏃♀️Middle school track will have an optional track practice today after school until 2:00pm. Any student that will not have a ride home at 2:00, should go home after school. Again, this is a completely optional practice.🏃♂️
Richmond Middle School track starts tomorrow (3/9). Here is a copy of the tentative schedule for this season. The schedule is subject to change when the need arises due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Middle School Honors Choir(3rd hour only) will have a Choir concert Tuesday March 8th at the Farris at 6:30pm. Students will go during class time to rehearse on Tuesday as well. Middle school track will have an informational meeting next Monday (2/28) to discuss the upcoming season at 11:30am at the middle school. Practice will start on 3/9. Practice cards can be picked up at the middle school office.
8th Grade Parents and Students,
We will be having our 8th grade parent night tomorrow at 6pm in the commons at Richmond High School. The administration team as well as the counselors will be present to discuss our graduation requirements and what to expect at the high school level. This Friday (2/25), the boys and girls basketball teams will have a celebration of the season starting at 5pm at the middle school. There will be awards, cookies, donuts and water. We hope to see all of our players and families there. Go Spartans!

There will be a Parent Information Night this 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 (02/24) at 6:00 p.m. in the Commons area 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟.. The counselors and administrators will present information on what your student can expect as they transition to the high school next year, including the course enrollment process. The 8th grade students will be receiving the same information, as well as their course enrollment forms, during their social studies class on Thursday. 8th grade students are welcome to attend the information night as well. We hope to see you there!
