Today, our district was made aware of a statement made regarding a possible weapon threat on one of our school buses. As a precaution, transportation was delayed while the situation was thoroughly investigated.
We want to reassure families that no weapon was found, and no threat was substantiated. The safety and well-being of our students is always our highest priority, and we appreciate our students, families, and staff for their patience and cooperation while we took the necessary steps to ensure everyone’s safety.

Center will join Richmond, Oak Grove, and Pleasant Hill at Country Creek Golf Course for an MRVC Quad on Monday, September 28.

📢 Sports Updates: Girls Tennis tonight in Knob Noster has been pushed back to 5:30 PM. RMS Football has been rescheduled for Thursday, 9/17, in Higginsville at 5:00 PM. Girls Golf has been rescheduled for Monday, 9/28, in Pleasant Hill.

Richmond Middle School was placed on a brief hall freeze today while staff investigated a rumor regarding a possible weapon being brought to school. The hall freeze was a precautionary measure to ensure student safety while the situation was investigated.
No weapon was found, and there was no threat to students or staff. The hall freeze has been lifted, and the school day is continuing as normal.
