Track districts this Saturday (5/4) will be in Plattsburg.
RMS Summer School will be June 3rd- June 21st from 8:00 am 2:00p.m. If your student will be attending Summer School, please have them pick up an enrollment form outside the office. If transportation is needed, the bus form is on the back of the enrollment form. Please be sure to fill it out also. Enrollment and bus forms must be returned no later than Friday, May 3, 2024. Any questions please call the RMS office.
RMS Q4 Midterm is tomorrow, April 19th. We will NOT be sending home paper midterms. You will be able to access grades in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you would like a paper copy sent home with your student, please call the Middle School Office, and we will send one home with your student tomorrow.
RMS GLOW DANCE is Friday, April 19th from 6-8pm. Cost is $5.
Student Council is in need of pop, snacks, chips, and candy! Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off in the office!!
Also, a reminder that your student MUST BE PRESENT THE ENTIRE DAY of the dance in order to attend. Any absence/late arrival/early pick up must be approved by the principal no later than 3pm Thursday April 18th.
Parents and patrons: This morning, the Richmond High School is participating in a pre-scheduled emergency safety docudrama event in coordination with the Richmond Police Department, Richmond Fire Department and MO Hwy Patrol. Emergency vehicles, safety equipment, along with emergency personnel are incorporated in this event.

Spring picture day is February 22nd! Pre-order online at inter-state.com/order and use code 85248QB. Students do not have to take Spring pictures. However, all new students who were enrolled after October 19th are encouraged to take a picture for the yearbook.
RMS PARENTS: Report cards that weren't picked up at conferences were mailed home today!
8th grade parents only: 8th graders will travel to the Farris tomorrow, Friday November 3rd to watch the high school production of "The Alibis". They will be there from 8:30am-10:30am. If they would like to bring money for concessions, they may do so.
Are our vo-tech students will still be transported to Lex La Ray today as normal.
Due to an unexpected water main break that has left building facilities inoperable, the Richmond R-XVI Schools will be releasing students this morning on the following schedule:

Reminder that tomorrow, May 12th, is 8th Grade Celebration and NJHS Induction. NJHS inductees, please be at RMS by 4:45 pm with the ceremony starting at 5pm. 8th Grade Celebration will start at 6 pm. Students need to be here at 5:45 pm to get lined up. There will be a dinner and dance following 8th Grade celebration for 8th Grade ONLY!!
RMS it's time to Glow!!! Student Council will be hosting a GLOW DANCE on April 28th from 6:30-8:30pm!!! They are looking for chaperones and some concession donations like Chips, Candy, Water, and Pop!! If you are able to help please email jfellers@richmondspartans.org or drop off any donations in the office!
RMS parents/guardians: Next week we will begin MAP testing with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. We ask that your student bring their device and charger to school this week and leave with their 8th hour teacher. During testing starting Monday, April 24th each student will be eligible for a Free breakfast.
Middle School PE fundraiser items will go home tomorrow March 28th. If your student sold more than 5 items please make arrangements to pick up between 2:15pm-3:30pm.
RMS PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Grade Cards will be coming home Thursday, March 16th! Attached to the grade cards will be Summer School enrollment forms and unpaid fees if applicable. 7th grade students will also have a booster parent info sheet, and needed immunizations for 8th grade if the student hasn't already received them.
