Parents and Students, Next week at RHS, we will be having parent-teacher conferences on October 19th and October 21st. On October 19th, conferences will be from 4-7pm. On October 21st, conferences will be from 12:30-7pm. Parents and students are welcome to meet with their counselor during these times. If you are interested in meeting with your counselor during parent-teacher conferences, please call the counseling center and schedule an appointment. Thank you, RHS Counseling Department

🥎 Due to weather changes in the schedule, the district softball game in Chillicothe will now be played at 3pm tomorrow (10/12) in Chillicothe instead of the regularly scheduled 7pm game. Go Spartans! 🥎

Dear Parents and Students, As part of our new implementations at Richmond High School, all junior students are required to partake in the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). On Wednesday, September 15th, a representative from the ASVAB Career Exploration Program will arrive at RHS to administer the test. Testing will start at 8:00am and end around 11:15am. All junior students (in-person and virtual) are to arrive at the high school by 7:45am. It is important for students to arrive by 7:45am in order for them to find a seat and to be ready to start the exam. The ASVAB is an aptitude exam that is primarily utilized by the military in association to their enlistment procedures. The test includes nine areas of assessment, which includes verbal, math, science, technical and spatial aptitudes. Students who are not interested in joining the military are still required to take this exam. The career exploration of the ASVAB is an important piece in the individual’s development and is one of the reasons why this exam is required for all junior students. This exam demonstrates evidence of the individuals’ aptitude across various careers once the results have been collected. When we receive test scores, there will be an interpretation session for students to understand their scores more clearly. Thank you, RHS Counseling Department

Friday's varsity football game and Monday's JV football game vs Fulton have been cancelled due to positive COVID cases on the Fulton football team. We will now play Bishop Ward (KS) on Friday night at 7. Further information will be provided. We are still exploring options for JV.
