The Richmond High School Activities Department is pleased to announce that Kaylee Vantrump has accepted the position of Head High School Girls Basketball Coach at Richmond High School for the 2022-2023 school year. Kaylee was a highly decorated high school and college basketball player. During her time at Richmond High School, Kaylee was a four-time all-conference performer, winning conference MVP 3 years. She was also a four-time all-district and four-time KMZU Dream Team member. She currently holds the school records in girls basketball for: points in a season, points in a game, points in a career and 3-pointers in a season. After high school, Kaylee played basketball at Penn Valley Community College where she was first team all-region. She was named the Female Athlete of the Year in 2019 for Penn Valley. Kaylee then transferred to Rockhurst University where she played basketball and studied elementary education. Last year, Kaylee taught and coached JV basketball at Columbia Battle.
